I really appreciate the notifications - I normally tend to disable notifications on almost all of my other apps, 7news is an well deserved exception. The notifications this app sends are almost always interesting and more than once Ive received an important update on an active threat before any other apps/news outlets made me aware of the situation. Great use of technology to help inform and improve my day - keep up the good work!
I read the news from this app every morning during coffee! I read all the articles and check weather and driving conditions. Love my coffee and news!
This is my go to app for local news and I have the apps for the 4 major tv stations here in Denver on my iPhone. The layout is easy to follow and I dont find the ads any more intrusive than any other app that provides news for free. Ive dropped several out of town newspaper apps because they want to charge me for access without adding any other value.
The app does a great job of keeping me informed and gives me bulletins when appropriate. I use several news apps and this one ranks highly.
I look through the news on the app everyday. Its my source and the best for local news and getting highlights on the worldview. The app works great. Its solid. And its easy to navigate. Sometimes the content gets stale, but that might be because there are no updates.
Hands down my go to app for my news and weather. They have everything I need even the school closings.

Some bad moments

Yep. Still cant get used to it. Before I could easily go to a category of stories that were of interest to me. Now it is all one feed and very inconvenient. Also, when accessing a story half the time the corresponding video pops up without an immediate option to close. This is also not good as it waits for the video to buffer before I can even close the video I didnt want in the first place. Same issue happens when trying to see the photos of a story.
Apparently the news is now like reading through a medieval scroll. Really liked the ability to select from the categories. Now you have two choices - weather and medieval scroll. Hear ye hear ye.
95% of the push notifications are not worth my attention and is nearly click bait to get you to open the app. Averaging 4 push notifications a day coming in as early as 5 in the morning and as late as 11 at night.
Good news, nice app, way too many ads. I am forced to see an ad before EVERY video (each 15-30 seconds in length)...ugh. I just turn the volume down and flip the phone upside down and do something in between each video. Its easier to just watch the news on TV.
As journalist they need an editor who proof reads all articles and stories posted to this app. They are always writing the wrong words and misspelling many of them. Its a joke to call them professionals.
We have a game at work--how many spelling, grammar, and syntax errors can we find daily on this news app? PLENTY! time to delete and get my news elsewhere.
