Why was the app changed? I really liked it before.Now I cant even read it.

Shame on you channel 7. You are a news source who professes to protect consumers. Yet the second "story" I clicked on (about DMV presumably) was an ad hidden amongst legitimate news stories. Viewers beware! Dont let a "news" organization allow this behavior. App deleted.

The app is good, but I am at a loss to understand why local news has become nothing but a police report on crime? Surely there is something positive to report on the Front Range!!

Cant turn off the closed captioning

Be careful - the “live video” is only truly live for a few hours a day. Without notice they simply replay older previously-live video at other times. This is more a station than an app issue, but the app CLAIMS to be showing live video.

Im so glad I now have access to less information at a glance. Oh and thank you so much for raising the amount of data it utilizes, I really appreciate that. Ive only accidentally started a video playing 3 times, so thats a win!

This updated version is a step in the wrong direction. Horrible flow and definitely NOT easier to use. I just deleted it.

Updates (on 2/10/16) to the app have totally ruined what was a great app. Now, it’s an app filled with ads. Look and feel has been downgraded, too. Awful. Good reason to use the competition’s app for local news. Big fail, Denver 7! Your news station is no longer my go-to app for all things local news and weather.

I just want to read the frickin news. No idea if the update is good or not. Cant get in without creating an account. So I just deleted after 4 years and downloaded 9 news app.

The latest version of their app is terrible. Maybe the code is better but the interface is destroyed. Huge disappointment.

The new update forces you to watch the news, instead of read it. Not intuitive at all.

Decent news app ruined by update. Deleted. Bad interface now. One story at a time with too much scrolling. AND huge ads made to look like news content. BAD.

This update makes it more difficult to check on traffic. Ads are intrusive.

Not impressed. Old format definitely easier to navigate. To many ads. Ill give the other news apps a try and then evaluate deleting it.

Horrible new layout and ads all over the place......

New ,improved ,faster update is anything but... What were they thinking? If it works and users are happy, leave it alone.

The old version was better... But this is still better than other Denver news and newspaper apps. Less biased agenda and more fresh news.

I have used this app over the CBS News 4 and 9 News apps due to the better interface. The other part that I always liked was the ability to save articles. I have background app updates set to automatically occur (like most people) and was extremely disappointed when this update occurred and I lost all of my saved articles. The new version doesnt allow you to save articles. Im not sure why this feature was removed, but that was a big reason I used it over the other Denver local apps. Please return this feature!

Why, why, why? Not a fan of the new layout. It seems they want to collect data over user enjoyment. Way to screw up a decent news app.

This update made it harder to navigate the app and it seems like they only did it to open of room for more add space. Terrible
