I hate the changes! I will no longer use this app.

I find the app much more difficult to use since the update. Its quite clear they prioritized ad displays over providing any real improvement for readers. Im so tired of accidentally clicking on banners while I scroll. The new traffic map is almost completely covered and unusable. Content grows stagnate and I can no longer select a category to explore. I cant swipe back to the main list of articles forcing me to use two hands every time to close an article. Poor update guys.

I did use this app daily to get my news. Now I find myself avoiding it! Used to be able to swipe between news stories, now its clunky and awkward. I also wish I could zoom on news photos. The new interface doesnt work for me at all. Two stars because it still delivers the news, just not in a way thats easy to read or use.

There are only so many times I am willing to try to register and be told it wont go through right now..... Perhaps the channel 4 or 9 app is better

This app used to be the easiest to navigate because there werent so many ads. Now it is dominated with ads and you can keep scrolling without the page ending which is frustrating when trying to get back to the top. I dont like how big the stories are too on the home page. It almost reminds me of the horrid tiles of Windows 8...

9 News is now the BEST APP. Like many other reviewers I am disappointed. 7 News are you reading these reviews? Like others I have deleted this app. Why must we register for a news app? Why must we tip toe trying to avoid ads? I went back to the 9 News app.

I seriously hate the new app. Its much harder to get to news articles about the weather which is something I do every morning and evening. It takes longer to scan down the list of top stories. I dont need giant pictures on the home page! I think I might switch back to 9news, honestly. :/

I used to love this app...and used it constantly. Now, its clunky, shows less news, and is full of ads. What a disappointment!!

I was ok with the previous layout. The new one requires twice as much scrolling and the front page now includes news that isnt front page worthy/local.

Deleting.. Please change it or roll back the update. Major downgrade. Why are all the news agencies downgrading there apps with large slow loading, animated or sneaky ads.

The new version of the app is horrible. I highly regret upgrading and what was an app that I used daily will quickly find itself in the trash and off my phone. I have no idea how an organization can take such a big step backwards. I really wish Apple allows reverting back to earlier versions. What a huge mistake this upgrade was.

I do NOT like the upgraded app. Not as up front as the previous version. Inundated with ads. Cant see a list of news topics and select what Im interested in. Endless scrolling.

This app is totally useless unless I feel like scrolling through miles of stories - sorted in no particular order. Theres no way to filter types of stories or a menu to get to what Im looking for.

The new update is the biggest piece of crap out there. You cant save articles like you used too. You cant see the 7 day forecast like before, and there are SO many ads that it as appears that the news station had whored themselves out to anyone that have them money to put an ad up. Avoid this app like the plague!!!! It is HORRIBLE!!!!

Oh, how I wish those at Channel 7 who are "in the drivers seat" of this most horrible update, be told to change it back to the old version, then be reprimanded for listening to your followers. If its that youre losing money on the app (hence the in-your-face ads), then simply go back to the old format and charge us for the app. Yes, wed gladly pay $0.99, $1.99, $3.99... whatever to have the (once) best news at our fingertips. *** PLEASE ***

Shortly after the upgrade rollout I emailed the station with my concerns regarding how horrible the app had become. I received what seemed like a canned response saying, "we appreciate input from many, many, users and have not only listened but are fixing ....." That was two weeks ago. So who are they listening to? Obviously not reading the reviews. This was my most frequently used app. If the station doesnt care about their product, neither do I. Today is the day I delete the app. While not local, Ive found AP and Reuters have great news formats. Ill keep checking the reviews in hopes they get a clue.

Nothing but ads and fluff. Ruined what was a very useful and functional app. This will be deleted immediately-dont waste your time.

Deleted app. Too hard to navigate and too many adds

This was my go to news app. Not anymore. The "upgrade" ruined the app. I want news not ads and I want to read the news, most stories now are video. So disappointed! Ill find someone else for news.

The app was perfectly fine prior to the latest update. Not sure why it was changed the way it was. Not nearly as user friendly as it used to be.
